In 2005, Batsomi acquired a shareholding in ARB Electrical Wholesalers. The company, established 30 years ago by Alan Burke in Richards Bay KZN, is renowned for distributing cable, overhead line transmission and electrical products. ARB has grown significantly over this time and is now the second largest electrical wholesaler in the country. In 2007, the ARB Group listed on the main board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in order to expand its footprint nationally.
