BATSOMI MANAGEMENT SERVICES (BMS) is the management agent of BATSOMI. BMS is responsible for the day-to-day management of group subsidiaries, and thus provides them with the infrastructure necessary to operate. BMS is also responsible for assisting companies into which BATSOMI has invested with the acquisition and maintenance of BEE skills in their specific industry. BMS participates in downstream opportunities arising from our investments. This company helps BATSOMI reduce the challenges that face most BEE companies, who buy equity into companies, and are saddled with debt for long periods before they see any tangible returns. The ability to generate income in the short term allows BATSOMI to maintain a focus on its investments, and thus greater involvement, that goes beyond the boardroom but into the operational and marketing areas of the companies we have invested in.
